Our Jute Rugs Featured in the Colefax and Fowler AW25 Photoshoot

We are delighted to share that our rugs were selected for the Colefax and Fowler Autumn/Winter 2025 collection shoot. Known internationally for its classic English appeal and timeless refinement, Colefax and Fowler created a series of interiors that highlight the very best in design and craftsmanship. It was the perfect stage to showcase our natural jute rugs, pieces that sit beautifully within both traditional and contemporary settings.

A Celebration of Craftsmanship and Style

The AW25 collection from Colefax and Fowler draws inspiration from centuries of textile artistry. Luxurious fabrics, finely detailed wallcoverings, and carefully curated accessories are layered to create rooms that are rich in character yet effortlessly balanced. Against this backdrop, our handwoven jute rugs added texture and grounding, enhancing the interplay of colour, form, and light.

Rugs Featured in the Shoot

  • Braided Jute Square Rug (280 x 280 cm)
Positioned beneath a circular dining table, this substantial rug brought structure to the room. The braided design and generous proportions created a strong foundation that complemented the patterned dining chairs, dark table, and decorative marble fireplace.
  • Fine Jute Rectangle Rug
In a softer setting, this rug was chosen for its clean lines and understated weave. Its simplicity provided the perfect canvas for more expressive textiles, allowing every fabric and finish in the room to shine while maintaining a sense of calm.
  • Fine Braided Jute Rug Blonde (244 x 335 cm)
Featured in the bedroom, this pale-toned rug added warmth and softness against the natural wood floorboards. Paired with an intricate patterned headboard and layers of rich fabrics, it grounded the design and created harmony in the space.

Why a Jute Rug Works in Classic Interiors

An Emily’s House jute rug offers a unique combination of durability and natural beauty. Its organic fibres and versatile tones bring balance to interiors that feature bold colours or patterned upholstery. In the Colefax and Fowler shoot, the rugs added depth and texture without overwhelming the design, proving how well they adapt to layered, luxurious schemes. They provide warmth underfoot while remaining breathable and practical, making them an ideal choice for dining rooms, sitting rooms, and bedrooms alike.

A Meeting of Tradition and Modernity

The pairing of Colefax and Fowler’s distinguished fabrics with our natural jute rugs highlights how traditional design can be reinterpreted for today’s homes. Each setting in the AW25 collection feels both rooted in heritage and open to modern living. By choosing a jute rug, you introduce an element that bridges these two worlds, an honest, handmade product that complements both period properties and contemporary architecture.

A Collaboration in Style

To see our rugs included alongside the work of renowned brands such as Manuel Canovas, Jane Churchill, and Larsen within the Colefax and Fowler showroom is something we are truly proud of. The shoot demonstrates how a jute rug can be as versatile and enduring as the finest fabrics, creating interiors that feel both comfortable and timeless.

If you would like to bring this same sense of warmth and refinement into your own home, explore our collection of handwoven jute rugs. Designed with care and woven from natural fibres, each piece offers a subtle foundation that enhances the beauty of your surroundings.
