Caring for Your Rug

This Turkish kilim rug is durable and suitable for regular use. Vacuum gently on a low setting and occasionally vacuum the reverse side, as dust collects underneath as well as on the surface. Due to its size and weight, it may be easier to clean in sections. If used as curtains or a wall textile, professional cleaning is advised.

How to Handle Spills

If a spill occurs, deal with it straight away. Blot the area with cold water, then press gently with a clean kitchen towel. Always work from the outside of the mark towards the centre. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the weave or embroidery. Do not use bleach or chemical cleaners, as these can leave permanent marks.
