About Jute Fibre
Jute is a coarse, plant-based fibre known for its strength and eco-friendly properties. It’s biodegradable, renewable, and widely used in textiles. The humid, seasonal climate of South India creates ideal growing conditions for high-quality jute fibre.
Should You Use Underlay?
For hard surfaces like wood, tile, or laminate, we recommend using an anti-slip underlay with your jute rug carpet. While heavier weaves may stay in place, underlay improves grip, comfort, and noise absorption, and can extend the life of your rug.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Unlike wool, a jute rug should not be washed. For routine care, vacuum gently on a low suction setting and shake outdoors occasionally. If a spill occurs, blot it quickly with a clean, damp cloth. Semi-thick and thick styles are reversible for extended wear; thinner rugs should be used with one side facing up only.

If you’re not happy with your order, returns are accepted within two days of delivery. Return shipping is at your cost. Custom-sized jute rugs are non-refundable as they are made to order.
