Our Large Square Jute Rug measures 350x350cm and is handwoven using thick braided jute with four raised borders. The weave runs identically on both sides, making the rug fully reversible and extending its use.

With a thickness of around 1cm and a border height of up to 1.5cm, it’s soft underfoot yet firm enough to hold its shape. It also works well under furniture or in areas where chair movement is frequent.

Care and Maintenance

To keep your rug in good condition:

• Turn the rug from time to time to spread wear
• Expect some shedding, especially from the borders

You may see loose strands with use. These can be snipped or tucked back into the weave.

Underlay

While underlay is optional, it may improve grip and feel, especially on smooth floors. Some customers find underlay adds extra comfort underfoot too.
