Description
This is a vintage Turkish kilim rug.
It is handwoven in the 1970ies by gypsie woman with a multicoloured striped pattern.
It is long and wide handmade with mixed materials of largely cotton and some goat hair. The latter makes the rug hardwearing and durable yet also slightly rough to touch.
This kilim rug has a more contemporary and rough look and feel and would do well in places with more footfall like a shop, hallway or a cabin with more indoor/outdoor movement. It would also suit in a bathroom, bedroom or living room with contemporary furniture.
